Both heartbreaking and inspiring, Lauren Fleshman pulls back the curtain on her running career. A timecapsule, through which Fleshman provides a lens for one to peer through in order to experience what it was like to be a woman running in a man's world. During this journey she provides an inside look of the challenges she has had to overcome, from inside her own head, the running industry and society at large. She does a masterful job in creating a narrative so visceral that you feel as if you're experiencing each of her triumphs and defeats firsthand. Along this voyage, we share in Lauren's love of running, her getting lost amongst the noise, only to find herslf again and become her truest form. In finding herself, she discovers her purpose and ultimately leaves one hopeful that the future will be more inclusive, educated and understanding for future generations of young women.
